The New Shopping Bag is a special edition of SUSAN BIJL’s iconic shopping bag, reinterpreted in KASSL’s signature oil-coated cotton blend and lined with SUSAN BIJL’s ripstop nylon.The design and chosen materials celebrate a sense of simplicity and tactility, features both brands natu- rally identify with. The New Shopping Bag is a special edition of SUSAN BIJL’s iconic shopping bag, reinterpreted in KASSL’s signature oil-coated cotton and lined with SUSAN BIJL’s ripstop nylon. The New Shopping Bag accentuates the relaxed silhouette of its iconic design. It maintains its functional qualities while achieving the quality of a luxury bag. The bag effortlessly folds due to its lightweight and resilient material, therefore a perfect portable bag to take along with you.

Specifications:
KASSL’s signature oil fabric is made from coated cotton, creating a unique hand feel, cracked appearance, and aged look similar to well-worn leather. This sets it apart from synthetic rubberised materials, though it may not have the same performance qualities. The intentional cracking and ageing contribute to its aesthetic appeal, and over time, it gains a unique character.

Please be aware that the fabric of the KASSL oil bags may bleed into lighter fabrics when exposed to moisture, rain, and perspiration. We strongly recommend avoiding wearing lighter fabrics, such as cotton or wool, underneath your darker oil bags when it is humid outside.

Regarding oil stains, the KASSL production team suggests using green soap and/or Ossengalzeep and a soft towel to attempt removal. Carefully applying a soft brush is also an option. If the stain does not disappear with the first attempt, allow the fabric to dry and try again later. 

To clarify the cleaning advice: "Green soap" refers to green household soap commonly available at any supermarket, and "Ossengalzeep" is a soap stain remover, which is a natural product made from ox gall.
