Renowned for his vibrant and artisanal knitwear, Christian Wijnants, an Antwerp-based designer, specializes in creating contemporary and feminine silhouettes that feature fluid prints.

Wijnants entered the fashion world in 1996, when he enrolled as a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Art, where he developed a fascination for innovative knitted fabrics and elegant, easy-to-wear designs. Following a successful stint at Dries Van Noten, he launched his eponymous label in 2003, and his collections soon gained popularity among department stores and boutiques around the globe.

In recognition of his outstanding work, Christian Wijnants was awarded the International Woolmark Prize in 2013. He subsequently opened a flagship store in Antwerp in 2015 and expanded his label to include a successful menswear collection in 2019.
